Calculate and print the prime numbers up to (but not including) 100.

Type in the complete Oxford Dictionary in full, with definitions.  Twice.
Your supervisor will provide a program to compare them to detect errors.


For the more advanced:

Design and build a MIDI interface for Canterbury Cathedral organ.
Sufficient time should be allowed for negociations with the Dean and Chapter.

Learn to whistle 300 baud modem tones.  Demonstrate logging in over the phone
and returning with the Amulet of Yendor without using a computer terminal.

Design a project which necessitates the purchase of a 17th century harpsichord
which needs to be kept in your supervisor's home.
Extra marks can be gained by securing funding for its maintenance and tuning.
