There is a crusty old chain letter going round again. Please do not forward it. The tiniest amount of thought shows that the resulting bulk of mail is infinite in the limit. The only reason it hasn't filled the universe's mailboxes in the years and years it has been going is that most people are sensible enough to ignore it. I can only assume that some people have never seen a chain letter before. Are people being so wasteful of the community's resources simply because the extra load doesn't cost them personally a penny? If so, I would suggest you contemplate the likely outcome if someone should think that students having free access to mail is a problem. I don't think it would be a good thing. Please delete all copies of it from the disk. All copies. If you want to keep it as a memento, print a copy out and keep that. Please delete this message as well, because there are quite a few copies of it, to my regret. Ta Martin
